Processes – or more specifically, creating processes. If you are anything like me, you have a love: hate relationship with creating systems and processes within your business or organization. What are systems and processes? If you are an entrepreneur or a female leader in your organization, they help to empower your team by setting clear expectations and are a critical aspect of building a successful business.
Most female entrepreneurs and women thought-leaders go into business desiring more freedom. However, if your organization is lacking systems and processes that make it easy for your team to follow, can you really consider yourself ‘free’?

In today’s episode, I am going to share with you some practical ways that you can begin setting up systems and processes within your organization.
3 Practical Ways to Set Up Processes in Your Business or Organization:
- Pay attention to each and every instance that you notice yourself doing something more than once.
- Ask yourself (or your team): How can I improve my company? If you work with a small team – or even within a larger department – invite your team to participate in workshop-style meetings to brainstorm areas that can be improved. The second session can help you dwindle down their list of ideas into a “top 3” list of priorities as well as develop an action plan to implement a process to improve this area of the business.
- Devote at least one hour each week to improving specific aspects of your business, based on the initial feedback from your team – or for entrepreneurs – from the list that you created noting positive improvement areas.
